Today its Hammersmith and Fulham but the more landlords from around the county that battle against this the more chance Hammersmith and Fulham landlords stand of overturning it.  

Hammersmith and Fulham is intending to bring in further selective licensing for another five years. 

And they want to makeover single 3 or 4 person shared house and small HMOs require an Additional HMO licence.  

Presumably another council desperate to tax and fine landlords.

Dear Landlords and Agents 

I am writing to you because you have applied for a property licence for a house or flat in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham within the last few months. The Council has launched a consultation on its Policy for the Private Rented Sector, which you may be interested to read and respond to by 17th April 2024. 

The information and a link to the survey are on the Council’s website here 

We are seeking feedback about:·       

The views of local renters, residents, landlords, letting agents, voluntary and charity sector organisations, and other interested stakeholders·       

What it’s like to rent privately in the borough·       

The challenges you see in the sector – and what can be done to improve the experience of renting·       

The changes you would like to see in our policy 

The Council is also holding some face to face focus groups at the dates and times listed below at venues within the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.  If you would like to attend a focus group, please let me know so that we can plan for numbers and I can let you know the venue address. 

Wednesday 20th March 2024 6.30pm to 8.00pm 

Monday 25th March 2024 6.30pm to 8.00pm
